Sydney Swans AFLW smash club crowd record: 16,672 at the SCG for 24-point win over Essendon

Sydney's AFLW side drew 16,672 to the SCG — more than double their previous record of 8,264 — and beat Essendon 9.12 (66) to 6.6 (42), a 24-point margin. Captain Lucy McEvoy called the support "just unbelievable." It was only Sydney's second AFLW match at the SCG for premiership points and their first men's-women's double-header.
