Ravec, the Royal and VIP Executive Committee, the Home Office body that sets taxpayer-funded police protection, carried out a fresh risk assessment of Prince Harry's security in July 2026. Its findings were not shared with the Duke of Sussex, who, per Hello! magazine on 22 August, felt "numbed." Harry lost a Court of Appeal challenge over the same arrangements last year.
