Sword image posted on TikTok before deadly Swedish school attack

A 17-year-old girl was killed and three wounded in a sword attack at a school in Fagersta, Sweden, on 21 August 2026. An 18-year-old was arrested. Police are probing whether a TikTok account that posted a sword photo 20 minutes before the attack — and referenced prior mass violence and Breivik — belonged to the suspect. Sweden's election campaign was suspended.
