The Magic Faraway Tree, a British production based on Enid Blyton's 1943 novel, outgrossed Pixar's Hoppers on UK screens in March, per Variety. The film, directed by Ben Gregor and written by Simon Farnaby, opens in US theatres this weekend. Two sequels were greenlit before the American release.
