Pendlebury's career in doubt as hamstring strain rules him out of wildcard final
Scans confirmed Scott Pendlebury, 38, suffered a hamstring strain in Collingwood's 63-point loss to Brisbane at the MCG. The AFL/VFL games record holder will miss two to three weeks, ruling him out of the Magpies' knockout wildcard final. Coach Craig McRae said the club will err on the side of caution. Pendlebury has not decided whether he plays on in 2027.
