Paramount Skydance and California AG to meet Monday on merger settlement

Paramount Skydance and California AG Rob Bonta's office are expected to meet Monday to discuss settling the antitrust case blocking the $111 billion Warner Bros. Discovery merger, per two sources cited by Variety on 22 August. A 12-state coalition led by Bonta sued in July; trial is set for March in Oakland. Judge Martinez-Olguin has ordered parties to name magistrate judges for mediation by next Wednesday.
