Israel's military acknowledges firing on Hind Rajab's car and ambulance, launches criminal probe two years on

Israel's military acknowledged on 19 August 2026 that it fired on the car carrying five-year-old Hind Rajab and a dispatched ambulance, killing all six people in the car and two paramedics, and announced a criminal investigation — more than two years after the events of 29 January 2024.
