Anthropic patches Claude jailbreak but leaves vulnerable models in production

Anthropic fixed a jailbreak affecting Claude Opus 4.6, Opus 3, and Haiku 4.5 starting in Opus 4.7. The three vulnerable models still run on the Anthropic API, Azure Foundry, and Amazon Bedrock as of August 2026. The patched weights cannot replace deployed ones on platforms Anthropic does not fully control, leaving known-vulnerable models accessible.
