BelicoFest cancellation leaves PayPal Park still waiting for its first concert

BelicoFest cancelled its San José edition on Aug. 21, eight days before the Aug. 29 event. The regional Mexican festival was to be PayPal Park's first concert since the 18,000-seat San Jose Earthquakes stadium opened in 2015. Organizers called it "the right decision" but gave no reason. Ticket-holders get automatic refunds. No replacement date is confirmed.
