Headingley left off 2027 men's Ashes schedule despite nine Ashes wins at the ground

Headingley, where England have won nine men's Ashes Tests — second only to The Oval's 17 — has been left off the 2027 men's Ashes schedule, confirmed in July. The ground, which hosted England Ashes wins in 2019 and 2023, will instead stage a women's Ashes Test. Headingley's next men's Ashes Test is in 2031.
