Niki Byrne Signs with Underground Management Ahead of TIFF Premiere of 'The Julia Set'

Filmmaker Niki Byrne has signed with Underground Management, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 21 August 2026. The signing lands ahead of the Toronto International Film Festival bow of her film "The Julia Set," a coming-of-age drama starring Gillian Anderson, Jason Isaacs and Chase Infiniti. Buyer interest is building, though the film will not screen for distributors until the festival. A year earlier, TIFF launched fellow Underground client Curry Barker's "Obsession," acquired by Focus Features.
