Billboard named Skippa, a 25-year-old trap-dancehall artist from Kingston, Jamaica, its 2026 Caribbean Rising Star. His single "WYFL" has over 5.8 million U.S. on-demand streams, per Luminate, the data firm behind Billboard's charts. Skippa, born Tahjay Clarke, has 29.3 million U.S. catalog streams in 2026 through 2 August. He has not yet placed on a Billboard chart.
