Young adults with parents in prison to curate Southbank Centre art exhibition

Five members of the Parental Imprisonment Collective — UK adults aged 18 to 35 who each had a parent in prison — will curate 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' at the Southbank Centre in London, 16 October to 29 November 2026. The show presents over 200 works from 7,500-plus entries to the 2026 Koestler Awards, made in prisons and secure settings. Artists remain anonymous under a 2023 HM Prison and Probation Service policy barring prisoners' first names.
