A binding clause in Michael Jackson's $20 million settlement with accuser Jordan Chandler legally barred the Lionsgate biopic 'Michael' from portraying the 1993 abuse allegations, Rolling Stone reports. The prohibition forced producers to scrap the third act, rewrite, reshoot, and end the film in 1987. The film nonetheless became the highest-grossing biopic ever at the box office.
