Headingley faces two-year men's Test drought after ECB excludes it from 2027 Ashes
Headingley will not host a men's Test for at least two years and will wait until 2031 for an Ashes match after the ECB omitted the ground from Australia's 2027 tour allocation. Yorkshire's annual report puts the cost at £2m–£3m per year without a men's Test. CEO Sanjay Patel called the absence "devastating."
