DRX enters K-drama production with two fully cast series targeting Q4 2026

DRX is expanding into K-drama production via subsidiary WebsCreative, which has signed agreements on two previously unannounced, fully cast series, according to Variety (21 August 2026). Both are commissioned for Korean broadcasters first; one is already filming with WebsCreative delivering end-to-end, the other is a co-production with the existing IP owner, set for a Korean broadcaster and a global streamer. The Korea Herald (20 August 2026) reports a Q4 2026 debut — DRX's first K-drama releases. DRX plans fresh capital behind WebsCreative's content team. Co-CEO Can Yang says the longer-term goal is originating in-house IP.
