Magenta Light Acquires U.S. and Canadian Rights to Brazilian Hacker Drama 'The King of the Internet'

Magenta Light Studios, under CEO Bob Yari, has acquired U.S. and Canadian distribution rights to 'The King of the Internet' ('O Rei da Internet'), per Variety. Fabrício Bittar directed and co-wrote the crime drama, produced via Clube Filmes with Telecine and Vitrine Filmes. The film traces hacker Daniel Nascimento, whose empire Brazil's Federal Police dismantled before he turned 17. Magenta Light plans a theatrical release later in 2026.
