Mozambique to launch first international book fair in November 2026

Mozambique will host its first international book fair in November 2026. The Maputo International Book Fair pairs a B2B rights-trading programme — the deals by which a book in one territory is licensed for another — with public cultural events. AMEL, the publishers' and booksellers' association, identifies 27 publishers and seven bookshops serving 32 million people.
