Senate Gets First Comprehensive Crypto Bill: Digital Asset Clarity Act Advances

The House sent the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (H.R. 3633) to the Senate on June 1, 2026. It would establish the first federal framework for digital commodities — assets whose value ties directly to blockchain use. A "maturity" system would let qualifying assets skip certain CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) rules. Senate timing is undecided.
