Springboks host All Blacks in four-Test series opener at Ellis Park

South Africa and New Zealand meet at Ellis Park, Johannesburg, on 22 August 2026 to open a four-Test series billed as Rugby's Greatest Rivalry. The Springboks have won five of the last six meetings, including the 2023 World Cup final. The series concludes in Baltimore, USA, on 12 September, with a trophy for the winner.
