Summerhall takes five of 11 Fringe Firsts at 2026 Edinburgh Fringe

Summerhall has won five of the 11 Scotsman Fringe First awards announced so far at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe — nearly half the total. The Fringe Firsts, awarded weekly since 1973 to shows making their world premieres, went to Summerhall for three second-round winners (Ham, The Distance, Salty Brine) adding to two from week one. A third round follows.
