Exeter lock Zambonin to miss start of 2026-27 season after shoulder surgery

Italy international Andrea Zambonin will miss the opening months of Exeter Chiefs' 2026-27 Premiership campaign after shoulder surgery. The 25-year-old lock, who played 27 games in his debut season at Sandy Park, returned from Italy's summer Nations Championship fixtures with the injury. Director of rugby Rob Baxter confirmed Zambonin will not be available until after the autumn international window.
