Prince Harry's UK protection level remains unresolved ahead of the Sussex family's planned return to Britain later in August 2026. At the end of June, Harry was still awaiting a Risk Management Board review — the step before Ravec, the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures, rules on his security requirements. The dispute with the Home Office began in 2020. Prime Minister Andy Burnham declined to discuss the arrangements, calling the funding a "private matter." No working-royal resumption is planned, the BBC reported on 20 August.
