King Charles Told of Sussex Return Two Days Before Balmoral Arrival

King Charles, 77, was informed on a Sunday that Prince Harry and Meghan plan to return to Britain in August 2026 with their children Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5. Two days later he received a guard of honour from Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland at Balmoral. Charles had previously invited the Sussexes to join him there. Neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace has issued a statement.
