Chris Hansen refused to sign away rights to see A24's 'Primetime' before Venice

Chris Hansen walked out of a private A24 screening of 'Primetime' — where Robert Pattinson plays him — after refusing to sign an agreement waiving rights to his name, image, brand and any legal claims from the film. His attorneys advised against signing. Hansen received no payment and was never a consultant. A24 has not publicly responded. (Variety, 21 Aug 2026)
