Michael Jackson biopic sequel will address the abuse allegations the first film left out, says star Jaafar Jackson
Jaafar Jackson, who plays his uncle in Lionsgate's franchise, told GQ Middle East the sequel's screenplay is in development and will address the child sexual abuse allegations the first film omitted. The biopic surpassed $1 billion in global ticket sales but ended with the 1987 release of 'Bad,' before the first allegation emerged around 1993. Production is expected in late 2026 or early 2027.
