Apple Music Plans Mandatory AI-Origin Labels for Tracks

Apple is building a "Made With AI" tag for Apple Music that would automatically label AI-generated tracks later in 2026. The system replaces a voluntary disclosure approach Apple introduced in March 2025, which left labeling to record labels and distributors. Spotify and US senators are pursuing parallel measures.
