Gamescom 2026 sells out all 233,000 m² of exhibition space for the first time

For the first time in its history, Gamescom has filled all 233,000 gross square metres of Cologne's Koelnmesse ahead of its 26 August 2026 opening. Co-organiser Felix Falk called the full booking "a good indicator that the games industry is preparing for new growth" after two years of layoffs, cancellations and contraction. Over 350,000 guests are expected.
