Apple Music will show 'Made With AI' labels but won't detect AI content itself

Apple Music told partners on August 20 that music "materially generated" on platforms such as Suno will carry a "Made With AI" label from later this year. The service will not detect AI content itself — labels and distributors must flag it via AI Transparency Tags before tracks reach the platform. Spotify, by contrast, said it will review AI Persona profiles itself.
