LA Mayor Bass Urges Urgent Settlement of $110 Billion Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery Antitrust Suit

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass urged California Attorney General Rob Bonta and Paramount to work "urgently" to settle the 12-state antitrust lawsuit blocking the proposed $110 billion Paramount Skydance–Warner Bros. Discovery merger. Bass demanded "meaningful and enforceable commitments" to keep productions and jobs in Los Angeles, citing standstills across the city. Bonta has said he would accept only structural remedies, not behavioural ones.
