L.A. County report: Paramount–WBD merger puts 4,500 jobs at risk

A report submitted to the L.A. County Board of Supervisors projects the proposed $110 billion Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery merger could put roughly 4,500 film and television jobs at risk across L.A. County. Paramount has promised investors $6 billion in cost savings while insisting layoffs will not be the primary method of achieving them. A trial is set for March 2027.
