Teyonah Parris joins Apple's 'Running' from Gavin O'Connor

Teyonah Parris has joined Apple Original Films' sports drama "Running," directed by Gavin O'Connor from a Bill Dubuque screenplay, Deadline reported on 20 August 2026. The film follows a homeless high school running prodigy who outruns his past to find a family. Makeready and Waffle Iron Entertainment co-produce. Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Schulz and Spike Fearn round out the ensemble. No release window is set.
