Chelsea set to extend Joao Pedro contract to 2034 after debut 20-goal season

BBC Sport reports Chelsea are set to renew Joao Pedro's contract until 2034 on improved salary terms. The 24-year-old Brazilian striker, signed from Brighton last summer for an initial £55m, scored 20 non-penalty goals last season — the first Chelsea striker to do so since Diego Costa. He is likely to start Monday's Premier League opener at Fulham.
