Infantino to attend Caribbean youth tournament in bid to split anti-coalition votes

Gianni Infantino plans to attend the Caribbean Football Union's U14 Boys Challenge in the Dominican Republic this weekend to lobby the region's 21 member associations directly, aiming to split the Concacaf bloc working with Uefa to unseat him. Senior Concacaf figures have urged him to stay away. He would face Concacaf president Victor Montagliani, his most credible challenger. FIFA declined to comment.
