Marvel reversed 'Wonder Man' renewal, cited undisclosed viewership numbers

Marvel cancelled 'Wonder Man' in July, reversing a second-season renewal. The Disney+ series launched in January. Star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who received an Emmy nomination for the role, told Vanity Fair he was told viewership was the reason but was never given the figures. He said the studio's "optics" were "obvious" and urged change "with quality stories and quality resources."
