Paramount+ sets 16 September premiere for all 10 episodes of 'Golden Axe'

Paramount+ has released the first trailer for *Golden Axe*, an adult animated comedy based on Sega's 1989 arcade beat-em-up. All 10 episodes drop on 16 September 2026. Emmy winner Matthew Rhys leads the voice cast as Gilius Thunderhead. Mike McMahan and Joe Chandler co-created the series; Chandler is showrunner. CBS Studios, Sony Pictures Television and Original Film produce, with Titmouse animating.
