'Never After Dark' trailer premieres via Variety after SXSW launch and Overlook jury prize

Variety premiered the first trailer for "Never After Dark," a Japanese-language psychic thriller written and directed by Dave Boyle, on 20 August 2026. The film world-premiered at SXSW on 13 March 2026 and won the grand jury prize for feature film at the 2026 Overlook Film Festival. Magnolia Pictures opens it in US theatres on 25 September 2026, per Variety.
