Director says Hayden Panettiere's team planned an intervention that never happened

"A Breed Apart" director Griff Furst told Variety that Hayden Panettiere's team asked him to join an intervention after she finished filming the 2025 movie. Furst accepted, but said the intervention never took place, as far as he knew. Panettiere died aged 36 on 17 August 2026 in Greenville, South Carolina. The DEA has joined the investigation. An official cause of death awaits autopsy.
