First Pan-Nordic Film and TV Awards, The Freyas, to Launch Sept. 22 in Helsinki

The Freyas — the Nordic Film & TV Awards, the first ceremony spanning all five Nordic countries for both film and television — will hold its inaugural edition on September 22 at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki. It honours directors, actors, producers, cinematographers, screenwriters and composers from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. Founders include Kirpi Uimonen. The ceremony precedes the Finnish Film Affair (Sept. 23–25).
