Sydney's A$915 million Powerhouse Parramatta — the largest museum ever built in New South Wales — opens to the public on 7 November 2026 after four years of construction and 12 years in the making. The 30,000 sq m building in Parramatta, 20 km from central Sydney, will offer free general entry, CEO Lisa Havilah told The Art Newspaper.
