Klesch Collection acquires major Botticelli, loans it to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford for three years

The London-based Klesch Collection, founded in 2014 with Giuseppe Arcimboldo's "Four Seasons," has acquired a major work by Sandro Botticelli earlier in 2026. The painting will be loaned to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford for three years. The collection of 15th- to 17th-century European art also includes works by Van Dyck, Rubens and Anguissola. In 2023 it bought a Gerrit Dou at Christie's London for US$7 million, with fees.
