Todd Haynes' 'De Noche' is in the can after Pedro Pascal replaced Joaquin Phoenix

Producer Christine Vachon confirmed at the Edinburgh International Film Festival that Todd Haynes' "De Noche" has been shot. The 1930s Mexican-set gay romance, starring Pedro Pascal and Danny Ramirez, nearly collapsed when Joaquin Phoenix exited days before filming. Vachon said no "drastic" changes followed the recast; the production moved from Guadalajara to Mexico City. MK2 is handling international sales.
