Jia Zhangke's Pingyao Festival Sets 10th Edition: 51 Films, 17 World Premieres

The Pingyao International Film Festival, founded by Jia Zhangke, holds its 10th edition from 24–30 September at Pingyao Festival Palace, Shanxi Province. The slate runs 51 films with 17 world premieres. The Fei Mu Best Film prize carries RMB 1 million (about $140,000); Best Director takes RMB 200,000 (about $28,000).
