Weezer releases The Gold Album, seventh colour-coded self-titled record, on Aug. 21

Weezer's 16th studio album, The Gold Album, arrives 21 Aug. 2026 via Reprise/Warner Records. It is the seventh entry in the band's colour-coded series of self-titled albums, a run that began with Weezer (The Blue Album) in 1994. Lead single "We Might as Well Be Strangers," featuring the band Wednesday, was debuted on NBC's Tonight Show on 19 Aug. 2026.
