Sussexes to relocate to UK as private citizens, not working royals

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are relocating to the UK before the end of August 2026, six years after settling in California. The couple will not resume royal duties and will continue as private citizens pursuing their own business interests. They will live outside London in a private, non-royal residence while retaining properties in California and Portugal. Archie and Lilibet have been enrolled in British schools.
