Second rider killed in two days at 2026 Manx Grand Prix qualifying

Sam Naughton, 37, from Castletown, died in a crash at Doran's Bend during Wednesday qualifying on the Isle of Man Mountain Course. He was the second fatality this week after Mauro Poncini, 29, was killed at Cruickshanks on Tuesday. Manx Grand Prix Races said it was "deeply saddened" and offered sympathy to Naughton's wife and four children. Qualifying was scheduled to continue Thursday.
