GTA 6 preorders hit US$429 million before marketing campaign begins

Sensor Tower estimates Grand Theft Auto VI preorders reached 4.38 million copies and US$429 million in revenue through August 18, since preorders opened June 25. The figures remain unconfirmed by Rockstar's parent Take-Two, which called preorder demand "unprecedented" without giving a number. The game releases November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
