Barenaked Ladies are performing as a five-piece for the first time since Stephen Page left in 2009, Billboard reported on 19 August 2026. Ed Robertson's 26-year-old son Lyle joined as a utility player on guitar, bass, keyboards and backing vocals. He initially substituted for bassist Jim Creeggan, whose father had died the previous month, before stepping in full-time on the band's summer tour with Train.
