Belgium Has a New Prince: Laurent Acknowledges 26-Year-Old Son

Prince Laurent, younger brother of King Philippe, formally registered paternity of Clément Vandenkerckhove, 26, whose mother is model and singer Iris Vandenkerckhove. A 2015 royal decree grants all children and grandchildren of King Albert II the title Prince of Belgium. Clément will receive no public salary and will not undertake royal duties.
