Bacon family slasher 'Family Movie' gets 23 April 2027 theatrical release via Variance Films

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick direct, produce and star alongside their children Travis and Sosie Bacon — also producers — in "Family Movie," a slasher about a film-making family whose low-budget horror shoot turns real. Variance Films opens it in North American cinemas on 23 April 2027 with a full theatrical window. The SXSW premiere holds 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.
